Job Description:

Yoh is seeking a SeniorMachine Learning Scientistto support our client in Saint Louis, MO for a direct-hire opportunity.



You will have the opportunity to join our Client's Data Science & Platform Engineering department. You will get to partner with their Research and Development team to help further develop the business unit. This role is an ideal fit for someone with a PhD in Machine Learning

Hours:Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for data integration and develop strategies for genomic data-based model development


• Work with a team of scientists to develop the state-of-the-art Machine Learning-based predictive models and data visualization capacity to support product design and decision making related to crop breeding and gene editing.


• Collaborate with various internal teams


• Effectively communicate results in written and visual format

Qualifications

• Masters in Machine Learning or closely related field that includes formal training in Machine Learning is required


• PhD in Machine Learning or closely related field is preferred


• 3+ years of experience applying machine learning methodology across multiple domains and with a variety of business objectives


• Familiarity withnonlinear optimization techniques


• Fluency in python and the use of cloud platform infrastructure and AI capabilities


• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); CUDA, Git, Docker; GPU clusters; ONT MinION data, Proteomics, Epigenomics data.
