Job Description:

Spectra Tech has an immediate need for aProject Controls Engineerin Oak Ridge, TN.

Position Responsibilities:

The Project Controls Engineer (PCE) applies an extensive and diversified knowledge of Project Controls principles and practices in assignments and related work.

• Responsible for the preparation of project control proceduresfor projects and the direct support of the project manager in theplanning and execution of Projects.


• Participates in improvingtechniques for estimating, planning and cost control.


• Develops forecasts and assures that all pertinent information isupdated in relation to the present scope of work.


• Acts autonomously on smaller projects and may also beresponsible for supervising a staff of project controls personnelon larger projects.


• Applies extensive Project Controls expertise and has fullknowledge of other related disciplines.

Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, construction management, engineering or other related discipline plus 7+ years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant work experience. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) desired.
