We are currently seeking aConstruction Management Assistant Office Manager to join our team in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Stores and maintains project attributes in UDOT's ProjectWise (PW) system

  • Ensures complete electronic documentation is maintained contemporaneously throughout project construction in UDOT's Masterworks, PDBS, PW, and Materials Database, as well as the company's internal document systems

  • Adheres to Reference Guide for UDOT Construction, CEMT guidelines, and UDOT Specifications

  • Ensures project administration and accounting documentation meets contract requirements

  • Verifies labor compliance, certified payrolls, Buy America and EEO interviews on Federal-aid projects

  • Verifies Contractor pay estimates and assists the Resident Engineer (RE) with project administration tasks and workplace initiatives as directed. The office manager is directly responsible to the RE but may work under the supervision of the Field Engineer.

  • Prepares subcontract packages, administers subcontracts. Assists in negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates in contracts administration and purchasing.

  • Processes invoices and generates progress reports

  • Performs a variety of special projects or additional work as needed/assigned


Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of related experience in administration or document control

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, electronic spreadsheet, document management systems, and workstation tools

Working experience with enterprise systems (preferably Deltek)

Experience with UDOT construction and systems preferred
