Responsibilities

The Global IT Applications Lead is responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing global IT services. The duties include, but are not limited to, developing, deploying, and managing IT services to the Bruker organization as well as managing external service providers. They will work closely with key business partners to identify the needs of the business and cooperate with theIT organization to ensure the needs are met.

Review and improve existing systems, making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement
• Ensure that global services meet SLA expectations


• Provide consulting services to the business and other departments within the IT department


• Lead and manage multiple projects (e.g. PMI)


• Provide second level support for global applications and services


• Manage key vendor relationships and continually drive cost optimizations with regards to global services


• Define standards and publish policies to ensure the functionality and stability of global services


• Responsible for the security and integrity of global IT services

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in a Computer Science subject or related equivalent


• Hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and O365


• Minimum 5 years' experience of working in a multi-tier IT Support organization


• Good decision making and problem-solving skills


• Good communication skills, written and verbal across all level of business and technical expertise


• Excellent task management skills


• Customer Service focused


• Proven Project management experience


• Ability to travel internationally on occasion
