Accounting Manager -We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team to support the monthly close and general accounting and reporting functions of the Insulated Metal Panels division of Cornerstone Building Brands.We are the leader in the manufacturing of insulated metal panels for commercial, industrial, and cold storage buildings. Our foam core composite building panels provide the most efficient insulation values available worldwide.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller

Job duties include:

• 
  Review daily invoices prepared by AR/Billing specialist
  


• 
  Prepare or review multiple recurring monthly journal entries and ad hoc journal entries
  


• 
  Complete or review multiple monthly balance reconciliations as assigned
  


• 
  Support and provide internal and external audits including organization and delivery of selections response to inquiries
  


• 
  Respond to ad hoc requests and lead special projects as opportunities arise
  


• 
  Research ERP activity to ensure proper reporting
  


• 
  Other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications/Experience:

• 
  Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field required
  


• 
  Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate accounting role
  


• 
  CPA preferred
  


• 
  Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptable to change
  


• 
  Effective time and task management in a deadline driven environment
  


• 
  Strong verbal and written communication skills
  


• 
  Positive attitude and focus on collaboration with other divisions and excellent customer service
  


• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting)
  


• 
  Preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics SL or Oracle r12
  


• 
  International experience a plus
