The AVP, Energy, Enterprise Sales will be responsible for setting and executing Salesforce's Energy sales and sales strategy across the Enterprise U.S. This executive will assume leadership of a growing sales organization of 20+, including Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives to help drive complex enterprise transactions
Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate aggressive annual growth in revenue and bookings
Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
Thrive in challenging and unprecedented times; motivate and inspire a team that is temporarily working remotely; anticipate market changes and act on them quickly
Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams, including; industry marketing, product development, product management and recruiting
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
2nd or 3rd line leadership experience leading teams in strategic sales in the U.S. Additional experience leading an Industry and/or Vertical Go-To-Market team strongly preferred
Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization
Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
Proven relationships with key stakeholders across the Energy industry with specific expertise in Oil & Gas
8+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP and/or B2B SW company), selling primarily to the CxO level
Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and reference-able customers
C-suite level resources, aligned with Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives and internal leadership teams to present a single front internally and help represent a single vision for our customers
Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution
Strong operational and analytical abilities
Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings
Experience selling cloud based enterprise applications is strongly preferred
Bachelor degree preferred
