ROLE -
The Regional Sales Manager's purpose is to prepare and execute all aspects of the sales cycle for the broad scope of products, services and solutions to airline and MRO customers; deliver and regularly exceed sales expectations; position Seal Dynamics as a world class partner with every customer by embracing our values and successfully balancing the customers' requirements with our corporate objectives to achieve our goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES -
Technically understands the functionality of all products and be able to effectively sell by differentiating them over competition when possible
Develop sales plans and coordinate with Product Managers in advance of meetings. Following the visit, constructs a final report outlining the findings and actions along with market intelligence
Make sales calls and travel to customers a minimum of 50%
Execute tactical sales meetings at customer facilities to include Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Management representatives
Develop relationships with a balanced cross section of customer contacts and decision makers (management, purchasing, planning, engineering, mechanics, etc...)
Maintain appropriate relationships as customer organizations and contacts change
Constantly identify opportunities for existing SP products and PMA based on product reliability, performance, availability, price, etc.
Promote Seal Dynamics as a partner to provide solutions
Ensure customer satisfaction by managing the entire sales process and the relationship between Seal Dynamics and customers.
Monitor competitors in the marketplace and industry trends that impact buying decisions and present potential risks
Responsible for delivering sales presentations and collecting information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies to increase sales
Responsible for identifing and introducing PMA opportunities
Ability to develop budgets and forecasts on a quarterly basis
Work with all functions of the organization to deliver results according to expectations
Work in tandem with the Product managers and Strategic Partners to drive programs at selected customers utilizing a number of approaches including the CRM tool
Coordinate activities with Reps in the region where applicable
Engage in collection activities when accounts become past due in coordination with Finance team
Keep up to date on industry and product trends.
Help with projects related to the sales team
Respond to emails same day (within 24 hours when traveling)
Ability to work remotely from home office
Master the tools available to manage sales activities
Continuously educate and expand knowledge of products and related systems
Maintain constant communication with all interested parties (external and internal)

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION --
Must have experience within the Aerospace Industry
BS Degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of sales experience (min of 5 within the aerospace - preferably in distribution)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIORNMENTAL FACTORS OF THE POSITION -
Ability to travel extensively
Ability to spend hours traversing through airline maintenance bases
