Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Marketing Enablement and Omnichannel Engagement will be responsible for developing, launching and maintaining highly successful omni-channel marketing programs. This role will be focused on building the appropriate capabilities and infrastructure to support the Commercial organization be more effective in engaging with customers and patients on their terms in a personalized manner, optimizing both offline and online commercial initiatives.

Exact Sciences is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing professional with technology experience, who has demonstrated a record of success in both fast-growing startups and mature corporate organizations. As Associate Director, Marketing Enablement and Omnichannel Engagement, you will partner with Precision Oncology's Commercial Leadership team, IT, and Sales/Sales Enablement to create the infrastructure/systems/analytics to support the creation and execution of marketing/customer retention campaigns and patient marketing programs. You will be responsible for championing Marketing requirements, evaluating solutions / applications, and providing the business specifications needed to deliver omni-channel and closed loop marketing tools to the marketing organization. You will collaborate with the IT development team in building out the long-term roadmap. The initiatives would include capability identification and asset requirements that facilitate effective deployment of marketing messages to key constituents and the necessary feedback loop into marketing and sales that include metrics and measurement of effectiveness. The Associate Director, Marketing Effectiveness & Omnichannel Engagement will support and drive these marketing technology initiatives for the Precision Oncology business unit across all product lines and channels. You will be providing business requirements and collaborating with key IT and sales enablement partners to deliver on executable plans. You will report to the Director, Marketing Enablement and Operations. To succeed, you will be a flexible and well-rounded performer with strategic, marketing technology and operations expertise along with demonstrated success in leading complex project management teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Collaborate on developing the omni-channel strategy and infrastructure plans for the marketing solutions needed to support Commercial Marketing's vision, strategy, and messaging campaigns for their customers and patients.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Marketing/Global Digital Solutions leadership to translate customer behaviors and needs into marketing engagement solutions that are measurable. Lead the development of the business requirements (marketing assets and technology stack) needed to create compelling and impactful experiences for our customers and patients. Drive priorities across Commercial Marketing/Sales leaders and Platform/IT enablement teams.

  • Partner with Commercial Sales/Marketing Leaders, Finance, Business Analytics, and IT Teams to develop mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of these programs and their ROI. Review analytics, determine key insights, assess program metrics and KPIs.

  • Visualize data, report program results, and build narratives around the impact of these programs to share with key leadership stakeholders across the company.

  • Utilize reporting metrics to develop and make recommendations for optimizing programs and solutions.

  • Work with internal and external software engineers to execute technically.

  • Partner with HCP Product Marketing, Global Digital Solutions, and Product Marketing teams to run boundary-less omni-channel campaigns.

  • Assist Marketing teams in tagging and structuring system and promotional content to facilitate directed messaging and sales enablement.

  • Identify additional marketing technology tools to support expansion of portfolio and business needs.

  • Support the development of Marketing tools to enable omni-channel and closed loop marketing initiatives.

  • Define the future state Marketing requirements and align with IT on their technical architecture and integrations execution plan.

  • Simplify and translate complex scientific data into a clear and compelling commercial strategy.

  • Ability to present a variety of material in front of diverse audiences, from All Company Meetings to Field Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, Executive Meetings, board meetings and customer settings; ability to well inform and inspire.

  • Ability to travel 15% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing/Business, or Communications.

  • 6+ years of management/leadership experience with cross-functional teams in marketing operations/technology setting, ecommerce, or related field, focused on driving the development, execution, and analysis of omni-channel marketing programs.

  • Deep business acumen of Sales, Marketing, and Customer loyalty/retention programs, tools, and processes.

  • Demonstrated success using logic and methods to solve difficult problems, derive effective solutions, and execute.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing best-in-class Marketing Technology stacks and best practice business processes.

  • Demonstrated success with sales activities, with understanding of GTM's.

  • Highly knowledgeable with a variety of commercial / technology tools that are currently in our infrastructure, such as Salesforce as well as a variety of software and marketing automation platforms; Veeva is preferred.

  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across the organization.

  • Successful track record of participating in global technical and software implementation projects with measurable business impact.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing highly effective virtual team environments.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing experience in a diagnostics and/or life science company.
