What You'll Do

About this role:

Global Hospitality Account Manager is responsiblefor managing the relationships between Precor and hospitality brands, ownership groups, management companies and group purchase organizations in order to achieve Precor's annual sales and profit objectives.

This position will report to the Director of Global Hospitality Sales. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships withHospitality Accountsand developing sales strategies to ensure revenue and profit growth for Precor. The position works closely with Marketing and interacts with all Precor departments. Selling skills, persuasiveness, customer service, follow up; integrity and professionalism are important factors in daily administration of this position.

You will be responsible for: Relationship Management/ Strategy Development / Sales / Global Support / Sales Administration


  • Develops and maintains relationships with top decision-makers at a brand-level, management companies and 3rd party groups.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with direct field sales representatives and distributor-partners supporting global hospitality programs.

  • Completes detailed customer profiles and plans.

  • Builds win/win relationships with designated global hotel brands

  • Works with SLT to develop hospitality sales forecasts and reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of opportunity.

  • Develops and presents plans, programs and strategies that ensure Precor and the designated global brands meet their revenue and market share targets.

  • Regularly communicates dealer objectives and results to Director of Global Hospitality Sales.
    Marketing

  • Attends designated trade shows, cultivates client relationships, and represents Precor in a professional manner.

  • Manages all opportunities in Sales Force, proactively reviews orders in house and leverages revenue generating opportunities while optimizing profitability.

  • Proactively generates lead sourcing opportunities and develops strategies for bringing on new programs and customer groups.

  • Support all global request for proposals, local project tenders, and manage the implementation of new programs associated with designated brand customer.

  • Provide ongoing quarterly training to global sales partners.

  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.

  • Identifies regional and local contacts that can help increase Precor's global market share.

  • Works with Precor pricing team to update pricing and distribute approved pricing to global team.

  • Ensures that all regions have approved brand standards for designated accounts

  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of Precor's production and delivery schedules.

  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date

  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

  • Assists Commercial Customer Service in establishing and maintaining the hospitality service network

  • Assists in the budgeting and the forecasting process.

What We're Looking For

In order to be successful in this job, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.

  • Four years of experience in the hospitality marketplace.

  • Successful sales track record and target achievement.

  • Experience presenting seminars, clinics and sales proposals to customers.

  • Familiarity with fitness equipment, fitness industry, and Precor products preferred.

  • Working knowledge of the commercial fitness market and business practices.

  • Knowledge of management and leadership skills.

  • Experience with a sales processes and tools (account planning and strategic selling).

  • Experience in the commercial fitness equipment market.

  • Ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Identify, quantify and resolve dealer problems and needs in a diplomatic manner.

  • Develop strategies, action plans, and metrics to monitor results.

  • Create and facilitate/lead business development plans.

  • Effectively communicate ideas (through oral and written presentations).

  • Listen to others and appropriately act on information provided.

  • Respond quickly (think "on your feet").

  • Act in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

  • Work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Use a variety of computer programs / systems to track results (sales projection databases, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet, etc.).

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Normal office conditions with extensive phone work and travel. Working and living in the United States. Travel an average of 50% per year to visit customers and dealers and attend trade shows.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light physical effort in an office environment. Some lifting of parts / products may be required.
