Project Analyst at Eastern Bank in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description:

This position requires prioritizing multiple parallel projects tasks and issues under senior supervision as needed and requires the ability to analyze information and draw specific conclusions and/or course of action based on performance and trends.  Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills are required.  The ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously as well as performing tasks under pressure, oversee projects, and directing information to other team members effectively.

• Performs various administrative activities for several projects including scheduling, drafting documentation such as agendas, minutes, project plans, stakeholder updates, change requests, risk registers, and facilitating management escalation as needed.


• Assists and supports in quality assurance responsibilities inclusive of centralized documentation collection, resource hour rationalization, and tracking status and progress against required enterprise PMO tasks as defined by the project management governance strategy.


• Responsible for the accurate on-boarding and updating of approved projects, ensuring appropriate tracking of project resource assignment and portfolio management.


• Identifies and communicates potential technology resource or timing constraints through analysis of project pipeline utilizing the change control process.   


• Ensures project status updates are completed and satisfactorily communicated.  Performs project financial analysis and reporting as needed.


• Provides support to procurement personnel as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS:            

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree with major course work in business administration, project management, information technology, accounting, finance, marketing, economics or a related field or equivalent experience.  At least 2+ years of prior work experience is preferred.

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. 

Working Conditions

• Though rare in nature, travel between various Bank offices may be required as part of an assigned project.


• Off-hours support and on-site support as needed, as defined within the scope of a specific project.
