IBM Cognos Administrator

Experience: 10+ years

Requirement:

-             Excellent Technical expertise on Cognos Administration with Hands-on Experience 

-             Expertise in Cognos Dashboard and Report level Support Issue troubleshooting Enhancement Bugfix experience with Hands on Versions Cognos Analytics  v11 

-             Experience with Cognos Client tools, Cognos Cubes setup and design and security knowledge 

-             Vendor communication experience ticket creations troubleshooting issues with IBM  Experience working with teams including DBA Network Windows Unix Platform teams  Windows, Linux, Databases: Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Big Data, AWS servers knowledge 

-             ITIL Framework knowledge with Change, Problem, Incident, Request, Configuration, Knowledge management hands-on for SDLC and IML experience including Setup, IQOQ, Testing

-             Excellent Communication skill for onsite position to interact daily with customers end users engineering teams 

Experience with ticketing tools like “Service Now”, Testing tools like Quality Center or ALM Versioning tools like MIDAS or Subversion is recommended

Responsibilities:

-             Work on Platform Support for maintaining Cognos Environments, applying hotfixes, assisting users for resolving any platform issue, bugfix

-             Work on enhancements, major/minor Cognos upgrades

-             Assist users on Report/Framework Manager level support,

-             Providing access, performing deployments

-             Communicating for maintenance, performing environment restarts, applying SSL certificates, attending to server alerts by resolving the issues, cleanups

-             Auditing the environments, capacity management, plan for roadmap working with engineering teams.
