Summary:

The Sr. Internal Comm Specialist is responsible for designing, preparing, and disseminating internal communications to employees in support of Human Resources and related business objectives (e.g., change management, policy roll outs, new product introductions, etc.). Collaborates with teammates, stakeholders and clients to gather business requirements and translate them into effective communications. Works closely with clients’ senior leadership to determine their business objectives, organizational goals, and target audiences. Develops and updates consistent HR branding, including an internal brand message.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafting, editing and seeking approval for HR-related employee communications. 


• Using typical Microsoft based tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)


• Ensuring that the diverse perspectives of our broad employee population are accounted for.


• Managing a busy schedule of internal communications for a wide array of HR oriented topics. 


• Ability to clearly communicate complicated or sensitive topics that may be related to anything from benefits to DEI to performance management, training, goal setting, etc. 


• Ability to interact with colleagues from manager to VP and above without fear or intimidation. 


• Clear, concise writing style.

Prerequisites: 

• 
  Education: Bachelors’ degree in Journalism, English or related field degree preferred.


• 
  Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Communications, PR, Internal Communication, HR Communication, etc.
