Aleut Aerospace Engineering, LLC is seeking a talented and skilled Lead Configuration Manager\/Project Manger for its Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC), Vandenberg AFB, CA worksite in support of the 614th Air Operations Center\/JSpOC. In this exciting role you will be assisting in all aspects of configuration management for the mission capabilities used by the JSpOC. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Builds and staffs all mission system changes to the JSpOC\/614 AOC Mission Systems through the 614 AOC Configuration Management process and IAW with AFMAN 63-119, Certification of System Readiness for Dedicated Operational Test and Evaluation.

Support the effective integration of new mission capability and modification of existing mission capability into the JSpOC IAW AFI 13-1AOCv3, Operational Procedures-Air and Space Operations Center; AFI 10-601, Operational Capability Requirements Development; SI 534-22, ANSI\/EIA 649-B, and the 614 AOC Configuration Management Plan.

Manage the identification, consolidation and validation and tracking of JSpOC\/614 AOC identified capability shortfalls and associated mission needs.

Support 614 AOC in the prioritization of identified mission support shortfalls\/needs, and suggested courses of action to mitigate the impact of known deficiencies\/enhancements.

Coordinate with requisite AF MAJCOMs, System Program Offices and Agencies to ensure timely identification of future\/pending JSpOC\/614 AOC operational capabilities.

Coordinate strategies to synchronize the delivery and integration of capabilities, and provide routine status and risk identification for assigned programs.

Plan, coordinate and participate in support activities (planning meetings, project review boards, configuration control boards, etc.) to identify 614 AOC mission and configuration changes.

Manage the coordination and dissemination of program-specific documentation to all divisions and detachments within the JSpOC\/614 AOC.

Consolidate JSpOC\/614 AOC inputs and responses associated with these programs and products.

Present status of 614 AOC Mission Systems at 614 AOC Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.

Manage personnel and schedules ensuring PWS requirements are met. Follows direction from Prime contractor. Mitigates personnel issues and reports to Program manager

Required Experience

• Possess working knowledge of Mission\/Weapons Systems used by the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC)\/614 AOC. These include the AOC v10.1 Weapon System (as used by the 614 AOC), Legacy Space Systems used by the JSpOC\/614 AOC, and the 614 AOC\/ Communication Infrastructure, preferably with recent 614 AOC experience or 10.1 weapon system experience

• This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making

• Travel: Occasional travel (10%) to CONUS locations is required

• Clearance: Position requires Top Secret\/SCI
