**Description:** $17.43 per hour Looking for an exciting and rewarding position? Bread of Life Ministries is now hiring for a full time Shelter Attendant position.
$1,000 Sign On Bonus after successful completion of a 90 probationary period.
Experience working with people with diverse backgrounds is a must, such as homelessness, substance abuse, and mental illness. Applicants should be able to access community supports and resources, as well as the ability to work independently and as a team.
Job duties include: displaying the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment, maintaining guest safety, treating guests with dignity, respect, and compassion, conducting screening and intakes for new clients entering shelter system, attending to telephone inquiries, ensuring guests follow rules and policies of the shelter, performing hourly security checks, and working collaboratively with clients and other staff.
Bread of Life is committed to modeling and maintaining a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere for clients at the shelter. Candidate must be able to pass pre-employment screening. Shifts could include nights and/or weekends.
