Job Description:

Responsibilities: 

• Taking a set number of seed potato samples during harvest


• Record Potato pulp temperature and quality.


• Weigh and categorize potatoes. Input data into iPad


• *Must be able to carry buckets of potatoes from the line to the quality station

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience working in quality control, sampling and lab procedures


• Experience working with vegetables, potatoes, or similar crops


• Ability to understand and operate a computer and general computer software


• Prior experience grading potatoes


• Possess high attention to detail, organized and have a strong, reliable work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time


• Bend, walk, and work in all elements


• Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently


• Ability to work extended hours as needed during seasonal surges of harvest, planting, and shipping

Work Authorization

• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

Compensation and Benefits

• Wage will be based on experience and skills


• A harvest bonus available with completion of the season.
