CFCU Community Credit Union is seeking a seasoned professional for the position of Vice President of Audit. Reporting to the Supervisory Committee, the selected individual will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and executing CFCU’s audit strategy and plan, and will also ensure that adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard member assets, monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and ensure the fiscal integrity of CFCU. Other duties include assisting the Supervisory Committee, senior management, and Board Members by providing analysis, appraisals, recommendations, counsel, and information related to the internal audit function. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a strategic view, attention to detail and self-motivation. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required, along with 10 years of experience in audit or accounting and 5 years of managerial experience. Certification in the field is expected.
