Wintrust Commercial Banking is looking for a dynamic Middle Market Commercial Lender to join our team! The right individual will have a proven track record in lending with 7 years of banking experience servicing clients in the $20MM revenue market. This can be a Senior Vice President or Vice President level position which requires proficiency in all areas of commercial banking with superior credit skills, and customer service and negotiations skills as well as significant bank product knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop new business from referral sources and through cold calling efforts. Manage existing commercial loan customer base.
• Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships
• Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client's business and personal needs
• Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products
• Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans
• Maintains comprehensive understanding of current on commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.
• Work well within a team environment, both cultivating and managing internal partnerships to advance client and prospect relationships.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 7 years of banking experience in commercial banking and experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities.
• Strong analytical ability with effective written and verbal communication skills.
