Job Description:

Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient substance use disorder program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.
In the role as a Mental Health Therapist, clinicians would maintain an outpatient therapy case load while designing and implementing treatment/interventions reflective of identified patient needs. This role would work at the Minnetonka clinic location in an office setting.
Ideal candidates have a passion for providing outpatient therapy services, are committed to providing a high level of care to all clients, have strong organizational skills, enjoy collaborating with others, and an interest in continuing to develop competencies as a clinician. Due to current clinic needs, are are seeking providers interested in working with children and adolescents, or the full lifespan (5+).
Other duties include:

Hold a 70% retention rate of clients assigned to them
Complete a mental health diagnostic assessment on patients requiring that one be done
Maintaining legible and organized outpatient records in accordance with policy requirements
Ensuring appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals
Attending and participating in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
Following policies and procedures of Nystrom & Associates, Ltd
Responsible for timely completion of Managed Care applications and ongoing documentation as needed
Other duties as assigned
