In this role, you’ll be responsible for these essential functions:
Participates in researching, identifying and implementing QA process improvements
Manages large to very large QA functions with multiple, disparate stakeholders
Develops complex test plans with multiple department participants and stakeholders
Provides QA status and summary to wide audiences including senior management, including articulating risk and tradeoffs based upon level of test coverage completed prior to release, and determining root cause of SEVs and implementing regression test automation on production monitoring to identify issues in subsequent releases.
Identifies interdependencies in programs and serves as 'go-to' resource for QA knowledge and process improvement efforts
Motivates and drive accountability from all QA team members with minimal supervision
Contributes to technical research on new technologies, processes or procedures
Provides technical input to solution development plans and concept documents
Demonstrates understanding of business impacts of issues and how they relate to IT owned solutions – advocates for the customer or end user
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a technical field OR a minimum of 4 years IT or technical experience. Other qualifications include:
Must have experience with Selenium test automation, API testing and manual testing
Demonstrates an advanced understanding of Software Quality principals/methodologies and an ability to adapt PM practices to meet business climate and needs
Must possess a minimum of 4 years’ experience in executing SQA principals and QA functions
Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting
Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Desirable qualifications include (These are nice to haves and not all are needed):
Experience developing Selenium scripts using Java, Javascript or something equivalent
Experience with API test automation using Postman or something equivalent
Experience testing mobile web manually and through test automation tools. Experience with BrowserStack or something equivalent is a plus.
Understanding of TDD/BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin
Understanding of testing performance, security, and compliance for web applications
Understanding of Jenkins Pipeline and implementing CI/CD with respect to test automation
Understanding of test automation frameworks like serenity and testing tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, and Cypress
