ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must possess an uncompromised commitment to SAFETY; working SAFELY is a condition of employment

- Must be able to function in an environment of employee-based leadership
- Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and responsibility on every aspect of the job
- Conduct field data collection, equipment testing and diagnosis, fault analysis, troubleshooting, corrective action of vibration, infrared and motor data; includes the preparation of technical reporting and documentation

- Maintain good business relationships with internal and external customers

- Excellent communication, organizational and coordinating skills and abilities
- Knowledgeable in mechanical systems including compressed air systems, hydraulics and rotating equipment is a plus  
- 40 hour work week, plus on-call standby to handle emergency situations as they arise; available to work holidays as necessary
- Be able to obtain at least level II vibration Institute certification with additional engineering, testing and analysis certification(s) within a specified time line (company provided).
- Must be able to write reports and communicate verbally to all departments
 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Two year technical degree preferred)
- Experience and knowledge around the functions and applications of bearings, motors, gearboxes, and major electrical components.

-Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems without direct supervision.
- Ability to conduct Failure Analysis on failed components and recommend corrective actions.
- Experience in RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) desired.
- Understanding of failure modes for different types of equipment desired.
- Ability to use Microsoft and maintain a technical database preferred.  
- Knowledge and ability to work safe in a team environment.
