Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Civil/Environmental Engineering or SCADA Implementation Intern to join our company. You will be involved with project work from your first day, working side-by-side with experienced engineers, technical specialists, and scientists from across our practices to help clients address their water and environmental challenges. Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and project expectations. An intern will generally shadow experienced professionals and participate as a member of a team by contributing to actual project design or field oversight. Interns are able to apply what they have learned “from the classroom” via experience based-learning. Interns will have mentors from our Municipal Practice Areas, including Community Development, Intelligent Technology Services, Stormwater, Drinking Water and Wastewater.

This Internship position will be based in our Portland, Maine Office.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a second or third year Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering major.

You will need to attach a professional cover letter, as well as your resume. Your resume should include your GPA as well as a sample of courses that you’ve taken at college. In addition, you must have a high school diploma to qualify for an internship.
