Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Technology Analyst to be an integral part of the HR team, supporting, maintaining and optimizing the Human Capital Management (HCM) System, in addition to other systems used within HR. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for HR functional areas and is responsible for overall technical support that includes; configuration, security, integration, analytics and partnership with Information Technology (IT) and Finance. The role's main focus is supporting Workday HCM, which includes Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking Recruiting, Reporting and Analytics.
To be considered for this opportunity, you have the following:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as an HRIS Analyst
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Advanced Workday training in HCM, reporting, business process and security

Here's what your day may look like:
Assist in developing the overall strategy for all HR technologies needed to support the business. Identify, design, create and implement strategies and solutions that best position Blue Cross of Idaho to support all HR business processes.
Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning) and add new functionality as needed.
Support and maintain Workday Security.
Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues.
Handle projects with ambiguity from design to implementation and often setting your own direction with minimal aid from leadership.
Create sophisticated reports using complex calculated fields.
Performs ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data and process integrity.
Create functional and technical systems documentation.
Serve as technical resource for all things Workday. Engage with Workday Community, Rising, and user groups to ensure that we are getting the most out of current and future Workday capabilities.
Drive adoption, optimization and transformation. Ensure full maximization of Workday to meet strategic business and talent needs and pursue continuous improvement in business processes, integration, automation, and user experience.
Partner and collaborate with business teams. Understand their needs and requirements, make recommendations for solutions, and roadmap and prioritize implementation to support strategic objectives.
Coordinate with internal and external partners. Work with 3rd party software and internal product, legal, and security teams to ensure configuration and integrations are efficient, compliant, and accurate.
Assist in managing HR Technology workload. Own planning and release strategies for Workday semi-annual releases as well as new features, enhancements, and bug fixes by the team.
Assist in identifying, establishing and tracking key metrics. Assess team effectiveness and Workday-utilization, identifying trends, root causes, and solutions to drive efficiency and scalability for the team.
