The Finance Manager has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and reporting all financial -related activities of the company, an entity of Snap-on. Responsibilities include managing dept., preparation of monthly account reconciliations & financial statements, general ledger, product costing, payroll and back-up for HR. Prepares and maintains regular financial planning reports, and completes analysis of financial results with strategic and tactical recommendations.

Lead, monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources over month-end closing, day-to-day accounting & budgeting, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Special projects with participation of Corporate Finance & Accounting management team.
Work with other key executives on a regular basis to identify needs and provide full range of business solutions and controls to enhance financial performance.
Lead, implement & enhance financial controls.
Managing assigned staff, including recruiting & hiring individuals (when necessary), providing training and development, evaluating performance, and motivating a high performing team.
Monitor & analyze financial performance relative to budget, product costing & margin analysis and make recommendations to improve financial performance.
Complete preparation of month-end, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
Serve as final point of escalation for AR, AP, sales tax, commission issues.
Manage preparation and support of all audits.
Manage AP/AR, commission, sales tax and various service contracts.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years' experience as an Accounting manager/Controller for a public company.
Experience in Cost Accounting, GAAP, SOX
Experience in analyzing financial data to develop plans & reports to help manage, improve & grow operations.
2+ years' experience in managing direct reports
Experience using Epicor or similar ERP system and expert in Excel.
