The Manager of Product Manager for the InsurQuote team is responsible to lead the Product and Production Analytic teams with a strong focus on customer experience and market strategy, as well as outcome driven execution planning for the leadership of projects that are cross functional with a high degree of complexity. Lead and provide expertise on best practices for peers and direct reports, as well as others in the organization on competitive intelligence. The InsurQuote Manager will focus on increasing market awareness and drive consistent product and production analytics for the competitive intelligence business. This position will work across Product Management, other pillars and shared services to proactively communicate the competitive intelligence initiatives.
Provides Product expertise and ability to articulate customer/product strategy across varying activities.
Responsible for defining/executing Go-To-Market strategies across the competitive intelligence platform.
Integrates market knowledge, strategic insight and a strong user focus to help our organization create insightful and great products.
Independently creates action plans that are do-able and will create business impact
Partners with senior leaders and customers to deliver and drive InsurQuote value message across our markets.
Leads working sessions to proactively address competitive intelligence changes within our product sets and works across the various teams to drive adoption
Contributes to thought leadership initiatives: blogging, writing papers, conference presentations.
Champions best practices and innovative thinking to continually improve our competitive intelligence platform and customer experience.
Works alongside Product Management/Vertical peer groups and continually defines and shares Best Practices for Internal and External use cases.
Product expertise and ability to articulate customer/product impact across varying competitive intelligence activities
Demonstrated expertise with problem analysis and solving
Ability to deliver compelling presentations across a variety of audiences
Minimum of 5-7 years personal lines actuarial or pricing insurance experience
Experience in a product management function, preferably in insurance, (or related field) or the data decisioning industry preferred
Bachelor's Degree in business or other quantitative field. MBA or equivalent preferred. A professional designation (e.g. FCAS, CPCU) a plus
Proven leadership capability required
Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize and delegate work to self and team members
Ability to mentor/coach team and other product managers
Strong organizational skills and time management skills involving workload prioritization
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Must work well in team environment
