Shift: Various shifts available
Deboning: Makes cuts to chicken breast/legs to achieve deboning of the product to meet customer order specifications
Evisceration: Prepares bird for further processing by removing feathers, viscera of other unusable parts, harvesting, giblets, washing carcass inside and out and other duties.
Packing and Shipping: Weight, pack and label whole birds. Move products from freezer onto shipping truck.
Cut-Up and Tray Pack: Cut and clean meat, arrange product in plastic trays to meet clients specifications
Pay Rate:
Starting $12.59-$15.73 - Currently offering an additional $3/hr hazard pay for COVID-19 at this time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with safety and sanitation standards and regulations, contributing to a clean, safe work environment, including proper use of all safety equipment and clothing.
Use of knives, scissors, scale, labeling equipment, vacuum packaging equipment, and other related equipment.
Working in a fast paced atmosphere, wet, damp, and slippery surfaces
Standing for long periods of time
Lifting 25-50 lbs
Candidate Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Legal to work in the US
Education & Experience:
High school or equivalent
No experience required
