Job Description:

The GLOBALFOUNDRIES Human Resources Development Program offers an exciting, 12-week summer internship designed to develop top Bachelors or Masters students into high-performing HR professionals and exceptional leaders who will make an impact on the future of Semiconductor manufacturing. Interns will gain an understanding of the broad scope of GLOBALFOUNDRIES business and HR Operating model through a focused, specialized project where they will dive deep into their HR sub-function and deliver a high-impact assignment to the business.

The internship consists of twelve weeks, with learning and connecting within the GLOBALFOUNDRIES HR field and cross-functionally. Interns will learn about key business functions, units and HR areas from senior leaders.

HR interns will have opportunities to connect with and learn from the broader HR group, network & partner with various functions and tour GLOBALFOUNDRIES facilities. Likewise, the internship will enhance personal career development through direct senior leadership engagement, formal and informal feedback and mentoring and formal training and development.

Projects/assignments over the course of the internship can be in Talent Management, Workforce Intelligence, Compensation, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Organizational Design, Project Management and Business Units

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to Talent Management/Organization Design, Operational Excellence, HR Strategy, and Organizational Culture and Change
  • Regular learning and social events designed to connect interns working across different functional areas throughout GLOBALFOUNDRIES
  • Challenging assignments in a variety of HR functions
  • Exposure to and mentoring from Senior HR leaders within GLOBALFOUNDRIES HR organization
  • Specific executive presence development during end-of-summer presentations to senior HR leaders from across the company
  • Formal leadership training and foundational development (i.e. leadership workshops and trainings, ongoing feedback, presentation skill builders, etc.)
  • Ongoing feedback from you on way to help you grow professionally
  • Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in a field of Data Analytics, Business or Human Resources .
  • Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, i.e. the ability to draw conclusions from data
