Entry level production position responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure that manufactured processes and products meet all standards for safety, production, and quality.
Duties may include performing simple machine operations under immediate direction, performing minor hand operations, housekeeping, material handling, loading and unloading items and equipment, holding or supplying materials and tools, and following instructions from more experienced employees. Other duties as assigned.
GENERAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
High School Degree or GED.
Experience:
0 to 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills and Knowledge :
Basic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math) and comprehension skills.
Ability to comprehend customer specification sheets, blue prints, etc.
Basic computer skills (Should be familiar with Microsoft format).
Proven capabilities using hand-tools (screw driver, hammer, wrench, punch, etc.).
Teamwork orientation.
This job is for 1st Shift. (7am - 3pm)
