We are a progressive manufacturer of PET beverage bottles, supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system on the East Coast and in the Midwest. We have a proven track record of stability and sustained growth over the past 20 years, and are looking for candidates for the following position:

Scheduling Coordinator

To be considered for this position , candidates must have work experience scheduling production and or materials in a manufacturing environment.

REPORTS TO: Materials Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager or Manufacturing Plant Manager

BASIC FUNCTION: Ensure efficient daily scheduling of production equipment to meet sales requirements. Oversee the use of raw materials and goods-in-process to meet the production schedule. Interface with schedulers at all locations to coordinate efficient machine operations and cost effective freight shipments. Interact with transportation resources, as necessary to coordinate product availability and optimal freight shipments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Schedule manufacturing equipment to meet sales and provide for short and long term production goals. Ensure that customer requirements are met.

2. Monitor actual production versus planned production and make scheduling adjustments as necessary.

3. Review the production plan for direction on utilization of equipment to meet anticipated sales forecasts.

4. Maintain an accurate inventory of all finished and in-process goods that meet inventory goals. Provide information for proper storage of goods that will result in use of inventory on a first in/first out basis.

5. Coordinate downtime requests by the operations, maintenance and engineering teams with sales requirements. Maintain cooperative relationships with all teams, SEC plants and customers.

6. Prepare the physical count of weekly and month-end inventories for finished and in-process goods and reconcile inventory quantities.

7. Organize and report the EOM inventory analysis to accounting and investigate issues with assigned staff accountant.

8. Purchase colorant, additives and production supplies as needed.

9. Perform other duties as requested by the Materials Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager or Manufacturing Plant Manager. Comply with all activities related to product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality.
