We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Materials Analyst to join our team in St. Nazianz.
Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers, both direct and indirect.
Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
Compiles data and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements and indirect material budget projections.
Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking the physical inventory.
Develops specifications for new and changed contract orders.
Other related duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or other technical discipline plus 5 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with an ERP system and SAP
Advanced PC skills to include MS Office suite
World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
Experience in an OEM vehicle environment is a plus
Strong technical skills and aptitude
Experience working with cross functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
