As a Post Closer, you are responsible for learning and assisting with all roles within the Post-Closing Department including funding fees, MERS, purchases, insuring, suspense, and servicing.
Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:
Obtain and/or make corrections as necessary to final documents.
Deliver and clear outstanding suspense conditions in a timely manner. Review, research, and work suspense conditions for each investor.
Insure loans by securing loan guaranty certificates.
Process MERS related activities including registration, transfer, corrections, and updates.
* Assist ensuring all funding fees are paid in the required timeframe to the VA.
