The Director will work to plan, organize, lead and implement physician alignment, program development and growth strategies, and initiatives to achieve organizational and programmatic goals in conjunction with planning/business development partner and medical directors. The Director will engage physicians, leadership, staff, and other stakeholders, in a collaborative manner to achieve targets and improve quality, safety and financial performance. Indicators related to service, outcomes and cost will be tracked and trended and plans adapted working with the team to ensure goals are achieved. Core focus includes:
Growth in people share
Reduction in number of system encounters per person
Collaborative development of a physician alignment strategy that includes continued expansion
Development of an organizational structure to support quality
Leadership of collaborative care improvement projects
Management and leadership (direct or delegated) of all associated committees
Management of the neuro-diagnostics department and responsible for growth in these areas
Supports the mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
Graduate degree required (exception: matriculation in program with expected completion within 12 months). Five years clinical and leadership experience in neuroscience, with a minimum of two years experience working with patients with neurological disorders required
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
Competent in standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including a basic understanding of email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation and ability to use software as required to perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to establish rapport easily and develop and maintain positive working relationships. Commitment to education with experience and expertise in public speaking, program and seminar development. Ability to analyze, evaluate and problem -solve effectively. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a variety of groups (staff, physicians, community, families) including public speaking and presentation. Ability to be highly flexible and manage multiple priorities. Self- motivated and results oriented, and able to work with and lead multi-disciplinary team members in the planning and programmatic development. Knowledge of performance improvement and outcomes management. Strategic thinker familiar with business development and marketing strategies. Ability to draw from multidisciplinary expertise to solve problems and develop solutions involving innovative and creative thinking. Ability to negotiate and manage conflict. Experience with accreditation survey preparation and data analysis preferred. Ability to think creatively and critically, and stay ahead of clinical developments and innovation.
