ECS is seeking an Elastic - ECE Engineer to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description: ECS is currently seeking an Elastic Engineer to work with the rest of the team to build and maintain an ECE based SaaS offering for federal agencies. This is a rare opportunity to support a massive and high-profile ECE deployment for the federal government.
The Elastic engineer will work with the rest of the platform team, while focused on the day-to-day management and improvement of the ECE cluster. Designing ingest capabilities
Integrating SAML IDP's into Kibana
Deploying new Elastic clusters
Upgrading ECE deployments
Working with tenants to understand their needs from their Elastic cluster
Providing subject matter expertise to assist the rest of the team in their roles
Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
Must have a BA/BS or 2+ years relevant experience
Experience with Elastic products in general, and ECE in specific
Knowledge of Federal Government Authorization processes (NIST 800-53, DHS 4300A / DHS 4300 B, DIACAP, ICD's)
2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining Elastic products
Extensive knowledge of building and managing big data solutions in the cloud including:
Data ingest
Data modeling
Infrastructure Optimization
Desired Skills:
Experience with ECK
Experience with standard development tools such as Git and CI/CD
