Assist managing production schedules and order entries.
Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate employee or department.
Sorts and distribute mail daily.
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate employees are unavailable.
Organization of customer Certificate of Compliance requests to Quality Manager.
Backup to the shipping coordinator when needed.
Conduct phone screens and schedules interview for candidates, as necessary.
Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding for temporary workers and direct hires.
Perform compliance audits and update employee files as needed.
Assist managers with any additional tasks or projects as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Relevant Work Experience
Requires excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Package.
Experience with ERP system is preferred.
Excellent attendance record and organizational skills.
Strong organizational skills and must have the ability to manage time and the urgency of priorities within the job responsibilities.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, good written, verbal communication, problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Accuracy and attention to detail, meeting deadlines, outgoing, approachable interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
