Provides support to 2-3 service centers at one time. Serves as the liaison between all pole attaching entities, and ensures the accurate and timely resolutions of matters relating to utility pole ownership, maintenance, attachments, billing, and other issues relates to joint use.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
• Reviews and approves joint billing for every SAP project that involves poles and anchors in order to create an Exchange Of Notice (EON). Responsible for providing accurate information used for billing to and from the Incumbent Local Exchange Carries (ILECS). • Perform field surveys for all pole attachment requests from CATV, fiber, private, ILECs and CLEC companies. Monitor illegal attachments through field surveys. • Ensures efficient and effective flow of information between the Company and other joint users. Assists service centers with all aspects of coordination, including follow up on pole sets, transfer notices, space allocation, signs and other illegal attachments to poles. • Negotiate and proactively manages relationships with all joint parties to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in order to achieve corporate goals. • Maintaining and correcting ownership information in order to generate accurate pole attachment billing.
Skills and Requirements
• High School degree/GED equivalent • 4 years related experience, SAP WMS, JUMS, SmartMap • Familiar with NESC, Distribution Construction Standards, Field • Operating Procedures, Joint Use Practices • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
