This position is primarily responsible for the issuance of property (keys, radios, cameras, etc.) to all park departments, dispatch and management of park radio communications, and property management for the Park Lost & Found. This associate is expected to be trained in all areas where the Support Staff may function. With proper training, the associate is expected to learn our CAD system for dispatch, the Chargerback system for Lost & Found, and our property office management system.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is preffered, but not required
Possess a valid state/provincial Driver's license
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to effectively utilize equipment (photocopier, scanner, computer, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate with guest, associates and supervisor
Strong organizational Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn the proper procedures of the property office and follow them when providing equipment to park associates
Learn the Chargerback system and its proper use for the Lost & Found office
Learn our Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and the proper procedures for dispatching all departments
Handle additional assignments from the Support Staff Corporal or Administrative Sergeant in a timely manner
Read, understand, and follow the Dorney Park Patrol Policy Manual
Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
May be required to work longer then scheduled, due to the nature of the job
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
