The Internal Audit Intern will be responsible for Sarbanes Oxley and Internal Audit tests on Accounting and Operating divisions.

Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree candidate, in their sophomore year or above. • Accounting major preferred. • 3.25 GPA or higher AND completion of 1 accounting course (2 is preferred) • Prior internship experience preferred, but not required • Prior audit experience (internship or classes) preferred, but not required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as interaction with management at all levels is required. • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities • At the direction Internal Audit management, process audits or analysis relating to Sarbanes Oxley or Internal Audit tests on financial or operational controls, in accordance with generally accepted accounting and auditing standards. • Help plan for audits or analysis with Internal Audit management if necessary. • Help conclude on audits and analysis based on sample testing. • Create audit papers and audit reports for each audit to ensure legal and external auditor's compliance. • Assist Internal Audit management in the resolution of any non-compliant audit issues for the park, divisions or departments • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions. • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies. • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Associate Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures. • Other duties may be assigned.
