The HVAC Technician is responsible for repairing and installing the parks HVAC systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in food service equipment or technical school equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical field and tools required.

Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing (placement, wiring, hanging, positioning, connecting, inspection testing, replacing) food service equipment, according to manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain, inspect, evaluate for proper function and take appropriate action according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions using schematics, blue prints, and test equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (planned interval inspections).
  • Maintain lubrication schedules.
  • Document preventative maintenance and check out of file record.
  • Respond and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from park guests and associates.
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
