Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Technical Director will provide technical support to industrial projects and facility building services
projects and management oversight to the industrial and facility building services Technical Managers and
Engineers. The Senior Technical Director leads the operational execution for existing industrial and facility building
services contracts with process, troubleshooting, compliance and training efforts, optimization initiatives and, as
appropriate, business development activities to obtain new contracts.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSBILITIES
1. Demonstrated leadership ability with an understanding of Knowledge of Facilities / Capital
Equipment Management, QA/QC procedures, Safety, Environmental and Process / Operations
Management.
2. Possess the ingenuity and initiative required to coordinate problem resolution, resolve conflicting
priorities and to meet assignment deadlines within a team environment.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage projects to an on-schedule completion and within budget.
4. Demonstrated the knowledge and abilities in process modeling.
5. Demonstrated effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to interface
with and motivate all levels of personnel.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater regulations as issued by the Federal and State
regulatory agencies.
7. Demonstrated experience working with technical organizations (e.g. AWWA; WEF) - either on
committees or as an officer.
8. Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written
communications, instructional presentations, and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 15 year's progressive experience within operations and maintenance or engineering
industries.
• It is highly desirable to have industrial water and/or wastewater treatment experience with
thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, principles, and practices of water and
wastewater treatment, water distribution, water reuse and wastewater collection, as well as
experience in power generation, heating/cooling systems and distribution networks, and
combined heat and power (CHP) processes.
• It is highly desirable to have hands-on field experience with a wide range of industrial
treatment systems and processes and/or commercial heat/power systems with a focus on
troubleshooting and optimization.
• Familiarity with maintenance, operation, regulatory reporting and cost estimating software.
• Knowledge of specific modeling - hydraulic and process modeling programs is also desirable.
• Demonstrated commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the
Company's Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures.
• BS in engineering, with a MS or MBA preferred

solve complex business problems or technical challenges; comfortable with drawing
meaning from ambiguous data or information
• Commercial mindset and business acumen; ability to translate ideas into business cases;
experience with value pricing or performance-based contracting models a plus
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to
develop and deliver structured and effective presentations to clients at all levels of staff and
management
• Strong time and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams
against ambitious deliverables and timelines
• Adept at developing project execution plans after thorough discussion with clients.
• Strong PC skills are essential. Must have proven proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suites-advanced to expert level with Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Self-motivated to high performance and ability to work autonomously
• Mobility and ability to travel in excess of 50% required
Required Certification / Licenses / Training
• Valid Driver's license and safe driving record
• Engineering and/or Operator Certification or other equivalent confirmation of specialty skills is
highly desirable
