The Omni-Channel Data Manager is a business leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who is responsible for the development, management and delivery of Omni-Channel Data in AZ Oncology. S/he will build and shape AZ Omni-Channel Data across AZ Oncology portfolio of Targeted and Immuno-Oncology (IO) products to empower business to deliver on objectives and targets. Along with Omni-Channel Data expertise, s/he is expected to have strong leadership to ensure Omni-Channel Data delivers business impacts and evolves to address new business strategy.
This role focuses on shaping and implementing the Omni-Channel Data strategy in alignment with the business strategy, developing internal Omni-Channel Data domain expertise (within and across functions) and delivering value throughout the lifecycle of Omni-Channel Data to empower the business to deliver on objectives and targets, in close partnership with Insight and Analytics, Commercial IT, Marketing Operations, Industry Consultants, Vendors/Suppliers and cross functional peers within Sales Force Operations / Commercial Operations.
What you'll do...
In this highly collaborative role, the ideal candidate strategically combines Omni-Channel Data, business objectives and operational excellence to support business objectives.
This position will closely partner with cross-functional leads to shape Omni-Channel Data strategy that will drive insights of 360-degree view of Customer interactions and empower the business to deliver improvements in Customer omnichannel experience. S/he will lead the implementation of Omni-Channel Data strategy, including defining data structure, data ingestion, standardization and integration, in collaboration with outsourced data consultants, Commercial IT and data providers to deliver high quality Omni-Channel Data to internal Customers.
This role is responsible for identifying and addressing data gaps and quality and responding to internal data Customer feedback to improve system and correct issues. Additionally, this role will build and manage relationship with Omni-Channel Data providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data.
This role reports to Director Commercial Data Management (Oncology) and owns functional leadership of Omni-Channel Data strategy, optimization and management in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver Omni-Channel Data capability to AZ Oncology.
Essential for the role:
Undergraduate Degree in business, science, engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3+ years of experience working in Data Management with Omni-Channel Data
Ability to evaluate, define and integrate data sets from data providers into a structured environment with adherence to data model best practice
Ability to manage day-to-day operational and management of data, including quality management, acquisition, storage, ingestion, processing and publication, to ensure accuracy and consistency in data delivery
Accountable for defining, standardizing and documenting data elements across various Omni-Channel Data sources to drive consistency in metrics reporting and analytics
Experience in managing Omni-channel data providers and data use agreements
Working experience with data from personal and non-personal channels (e.g. representative call activities, field email and speaker programs, 3rd party platforms, AZ digital capabilities, email, banner and website)
Working experience with reporting and analytics of Omni-Channel Data (e.g. reach and engagement metrics, Channel ROIs, Marketing Mix model, Channel Investment Allocation model, etc.)
Ability to work collaboratively cross-functions to create value throughout data lifecycle
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and ability to influence with no authority
Desirable for the role:
Advanced Degree in technical, life-sciences, or business field
Experience working in Data Management in pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
Working experience with Oncology Commercial data sources (e.g. Claims, Diagnostic, Syndicated sales, EMR, etc.)
Working knowledge of cloud-based environments and processes (e.g. Redshift, Hive, Spark, Airflow, Glue) to improve system efficiency and downstream consumption
Experience in data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g. Qlik, MicroStrategy)
Experience in agile deployment approach
Previous data programming experience (e.g. Python, SAS, SQL)
