HVAC Lead & Generator/ATS Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities include managing HVAC & Electrical crew and distributing & prioritizing work-orders for projects assigned from the computerized maintenance management system. Tracking equipment records, the procurement of materials, record keeping of written and electronic work-orders and PPE.
Providing support to trades with inspections, testing, repairs, installing, adjusting, and balance heating, cooling, and ventilating systems on base. Managing monthly testing on Base generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Studies system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as motors, pumps, fans, switches, ducts, or pipes.
Verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect malfunctions in system component parts.
Monitor air and hydronic systems to isolate problems and determine where adjustments are necessary.
Perform and support generator repairs of commercial generators/automatic transfer switches (ATS) as well as preventative maintenance.
Perform generator/(ATS) troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Perform failure analysis activities and implementation of corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Provide support service and maintain multiple types of HVAC systems (chillers, mini splits, package units, etc.) in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Proficient with maintaining multiple Generator/(ATS) models (Onan, Cummins, Generac, etc.)
Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the area of assigned work.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Certifications in HVAC Service and installation, CFC Recovery Certification and Forklift Operator Certificate.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
