Consultant - US at Infosys in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a System Administrator experienced in Microsoft Windows and Amazon Web Services (AWS).The team is looking for a candidate who is experienced, but also looking for a challenging and collaborative environment, which requires alternative thinking to solve complex problems. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining the customer physical and virtual server environment, ensuring systems meet operational service levels, and will as necessary support other operational and application development team members. The candidate will perform information security mitigation related to vulnerability and assessment efforts conducted by third-party evaluators, including system patching, event/activity monitoring review, and controlled configuration management. The candidate may also provide Tier III support duties specific to the customer application architecture.

Responsibilities:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malvern PA or will be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology skills
• At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Windows administration and 1-year Amazon Web Service (AWS) Infrastructure administration.
• Experience in Amazon Web Service (AWS) workspace environment build and O365 administration is a PLUS
• Ensure stability and availability of all Windows servers
• Configure, create, and maintain servers through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Support accreditation efforts
• Configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting of Storage, Network connectivity 
• Capability to work on a busy environment and be part of off hour support and maintenance.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications:
•Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
•Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems
•Ability to document, plan, draw diagrams, and implement changes in AWS workspaces is a PLUS
•Experience in building excellent client relationship and supporting Sr. Executives 
•Possess and maintain a positive attitude in various situations.
•Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
