The Continuous Improvement Driver will be responsible for performing improvement projects and implementing improvement ideas to enhance company efficiency and drive positive results regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Who you are:
Driving continuous improvement as directed to advance the warehouse safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities
Provides ongoing support for assigned project implementation and takes corrective actions to resolve issues
Develops timelines and action plans for projects and activities
Identify capability gaps and prioritize activities to address these gaps
Adheres to lean techniques and thinking and communicates this with the team members
Assist with developing visual flows of processes using value stream and process mapping
Reviews data to determine if processes are performing efficiently and reports findings to management
Create dashboards understandable by all levels of organization with Microsoft PowerBI
Communicates and presents findings to management regarding process improvements
Actively participates and contributes to Alfa Laval Production Systems
Support warehousing operations by receiving, make, picking, and packing 25% of time
Assist with other tasks assigned by management
ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS
Reports to Warehouse Unit Manager. Must work independently to perform and implement continuous improvement projects. Cooperate with Team Leader and work effectively in a strong team environment; continually seeking ways to improve processes and techniques. Must be able to interact in a professional manner with administrative staff and co-workers.

What you know:
High School Degree or Equivalent Required
Project Experience preferred
5-10 years of Warehouse Experience
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
Computer skills, including frequent prior use of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Assist with developing short and long term strategies for the warehouse
Monitors and analyzes data to determine if processes/systems are performing efficiently
Create dashboards understandable by all levels of organization with Microsoft PowerBI
Makes presentations to management regarding process improvements
Active leader and contributor to Alfa Laval Production Systems
