Job Description:

SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Brake Press Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for adherence to all Safety policies and procedures and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the respective Brake Operator procedures, work instructions, and specified customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up brake press tooling


• Operate and maintain brake press machines


• Complete brake press machine maintenance and preventative maintenance by complete maintenance request forms


• Complete all required safety and quality checks and measurements


• Adhere to all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures


• Meet shift objectives by ensuring efficient and safe operations


• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production efficiencies


• Other duties as assigned
