Responsibilities:
Director of Product Lifecycle Management will oversee the lifecycle of all reusable software assets for Cognizant, through our “IPReady program”, focusing on minimizing risks and decreasing time-to market.
Manage a team of managers and senior managers who work across Business Units, Service Lines and Corporate functions in order to certify readiness of reusable software assets and successfully manage their lifecycle, from early development stage to retirement.
Responsible for scaling the program, by continuously improving the process, automating workflows, and hiring new resources.
Defining and tracking key metrics to assess the success of the program and make recommendations.
Required Skills / Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred.
10-15 years of work experience in the Software industry, in Business Operations, Software Product Management, Project/Program Management or Software Lifecycle Management
Strong understanding of Software Lifecycle and stages.
Experience with IP Legal, cyber security, software compliance, software go-to-market, release management, branding, and program management.
Combined experience of working in startups and large companies.
Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers at all levels of a large organization.
Previous people management experience.
