We're currently hiring talented technology inspired individuals to join our autonomous vehicle division in San Francisco, CA. As an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor, you'll act as the operations liaison, working with Dispatch and fellow Transdev employees. If you thrive in a leadership role and possess the ability to make quality business decisions regarding operations, you'll make the perfect addition to the team. What you'll do as an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor:

  • Support operations leadership team in daily operations management of dispatch, including communicating job assignments to drivers.
  • Conduct driver pre-brief and debrief meetings-leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the site, working on continuous improvement initiatives, and performing vehicle driver safety evaluations.
  • Respond to service problems, such as rerouting, accidents, and incidents with the goal of restoration of interrupted service and drug/alcohol compliance testing.
  • In conjunction with site and safety leadership, investigate and respond to unsafe location/situation reports.
  • Develop program work plan following specifications in conjunction with client staff. Maintain routine records and perform a variety of office work as needed.
  • Have the ability to analyze data for continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What skills you will use:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university-degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience desired, but not necessary; however, some supervisory experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the service area.
  • Ability to use a computer and learn proprietary software systems to generate reports and schedules.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, and phases.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Pass drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements:

Using your five senses, you're regularly required to stand, walk, use your hands in various capacities, talk, smell, or hear. You're frequently required to sit, occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch, and crawl. You may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Half of the workday could be spent outdoors monitoring service on routes and company locations. Your remaining work is accomplished in an office or a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
