Summary

The Sales Account Manager's primary responsibility is to sell add-on software and solutions to existing customers while identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas as put forth by the company.

  • Maintain an acceptably high level of sales activity as determined by the company.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales funnel as determined by the company.

  • Proactively contact current customers to explain, build value for and sell additional products.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations via telephone with current customers.

  • Help to solve customer issues in a timely manner.

  • Contact internal resources as necessary to resolve customer issues.

  • Identify reference accounts.

  • Update customer records as necessary.

  • Monitor and record customer satisfaction levels.

  • Attend sales department meetings and educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends within the industry.

  • Execute on other assignments as directed.
