Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Neenah, WI

Summary Of Position:

This position will report administratively into the Design Control Team – Research & Engineering.  This position will have accountability as an Electrical Engineering Lead for major innovation/commercialization projects that will be global in scope and require implementation across multiple regions.  Specific work direction will be given by the Design Control Team Manager.

Position Purpose:

Provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization and implementation of major manufacturing and supporting processes for highly regulated products such as tampons.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

Position typically requires a bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience and continuing self-development, and/or progress toward advanced degree in related field.  Experience in a variety of plant and/or staff roles is highly desirable.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership qualities in achieving results.  Preferred experience in tampon manufacturing from Litovel, Conway or Nogales Manufacturing sites.

  • Project responsibility of $1 MM to $30 MM

  • Project team of three to thirty people

  • Single or multiple projects

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Design and Development: Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation, design, development and optimization of manufacturing and supporting processes to meet unit objectives

  • Technical Knowledge: Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized for expertise and functional leadership in application of engineering principles and/or scientific analysis. Provide advice and counsel sought by others

  • Safety: Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner.  Ensure equipment and processes meet safety codes, policies and guidelines.  Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel

  • Security and Documentation: Provide leadership in security and documentation to ensure the retrieval of data and protection of proprietary information

  • Problem Solving: Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives

  • Internal Control: Lead assigned projects/tasks to meet unit objectives within applicable Corporate policies.  Place emphasis on CFI and Internal Control

  • Communications: Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know.  Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious.  Communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive

  • Human Resources Development: Participate in the development of others in the area of incumbent's expertise, while demonstrating an understanding of those with a diverse background or experience

  • Quality: Analyze and improve process capability to deliver a reduction in defects and variability. Identify, develop, and provide leadership to implement products, processes, materials, systems, and procedures to achieve business objectives.
