The ITBP has the overall responsibility of serving as the strategic interface between assigned business units for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. The ITBP proactively serves as a “trusted advisor” and is the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers. The ITBP delivers comprehensive programs, initiatives, and solutions to the functional areas of the organization in support of key business strategies. He or she facilitates the project intake process and the high-level planning and execution of business initiatives by partnering with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and prioritize projects. The ITBP serves as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and implementation of technology solution roadmaps
Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for respective business units
Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments
Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans
Act as advocate across business units, escalating business requirements with IT when needed
Possess broad knowledge of technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members
Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet customer needs
Possess strong analytical and requirements gathering capabilities
Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization
Utilize the appropriate technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the manner best suited to their requirements
Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of projects across the company
Develop KPI’s that evaluate the success and failure of new programs and initiatives for assigned business units

Knowledge, Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline
Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
5+ years developing and executing strategic plans including project management, business analysis, requirements gathering, and streamlining
3+ years of experience working with a broad range of diverse and complicated business units
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite
Strong Business Acumen
Lean certification would be an asset
Work Experience in various assets such as:
Work experience in CRM technologies such as Salesforce
Working knowledge of finance technologies such as Hyperion, Concur and Taxware
Work experience with BI tools such as Power BI
Working knowledge of ERP technologies such as SAP and Syteline
Working knowledge of HRIS technologies such as UltiPro and Workday
Travel: Up to 20% travel (including international)
