Job Description:

Overall Purpose: This position will fill an important role in developing and executing on the strategy for accelerating IoT growth with customers in the Manufacturing vertical, including those operating in the Transportation, CPG, Airline, Rail, and Automotive space. We’re seeking a self-starter with excellent customer relationship and account management skills, solid technical expertise, and the drive to deliver extraordinary results. We’re looking for a bold, resourceful individual to join our team and work with us to change the world through innovative IoT sales leadership.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for consulting with partner sales teams and customers to provide expertise regarding the design, customization, implementation and account management of IoT technical products/services/applications/solutions.
  • Provides subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to IoT sales.
  • Advises customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.
  • Prepares proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, for highly complex solutions.
  • Develops strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sale.
  • Researches and develops customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including product management and engineering.
  • May manage and coordinate the sales and/or technical team in support of the sale of highly complex products and services to a customer.
  • Spends time with customers developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutions.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of company products and services. Assists less experienced peers.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Requires eight to twelve years of direct work experience.
