Position has administrative responsibility for designated practices yet collaborates within anintegrated healthcare delivery system. Has knowledge of community health concepts, principles ofambulatory clinical nursing care. Customers include, but are not limited to, regional leadership,physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and theircaretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community. This position also develops plan toidentify and reach short and long0tem foals and assure development and compliance with operatingand capital budgets and achievements of financial performance. The scope of this role includes practice management of an outpatient ambulatory site. Managementincludes multiple specialties, clinics, and providers, The clinic operations will report directly to thisrole, and this role will have direct supervisory and managerial functions of the clinic's practice. Responsible for administration of business, financial and practice functions of the practice. Assistswith the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the deliveryof Centura's healthcare services within the community Serves as a patient advocate as well as a rolemodel for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positiveethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission and Values of Centura Health. This positionrequires the skills and abilities to build collaborative relationships with physicians and other membersof the management team to fulfill his/her accountabilities. In addition, the incumbent serves as theliaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic. Promotes the optimal health, wellbeing and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient carestandards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. A key role of this position is to build strongrelationships with physicians and associates for Centura and to achieve high levels of patient andcustomer satisfaction. What You Bring/Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
* High School Diploma/GED required * Associate Degree (Nursing) required * Bachelor Degree (Nursing) preferred - BSN or Bachelor in Healthcare, Business or related field of study preferred * Registered Nurse State of Colorado required * BLS through American Heart Association required * American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing - Certification in Ambulatory Nursing preferred * 3 years experience in a healthcare related field with at least two years in management experience * 3 years clinical background in area of specialty * Entrepreneurial spirit and have the skills to lead a small business * Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics Your Connected Community When people and places align, incredible things happen.
